About Us Banner

Carryduff Branch was founded on 15th August 1991 when it was officially affiliated to Manchester United. Since then we have grown from a mere 40 members to over 400 members.

We own 70 season ticket / lmtb and have a guaranteed allocation of 30 tickets as well for every premier league home game. We very rarely have to set out criteria for matches that are over subscribed however when it does happen it falls to the number of meetings attended to decide who can go to a game.

About Joining Banner

Stuart is our membership secretary who looks after new members. stuart_anderson@hotmail.co.uk is the email address you need with regard to joining.

The initial joining fee is £75 plus £1 per week subscriptions over the 40 weeks of the season. We generally suggest that people just pay the full amount up front ie £115.

For subsequent years the renewal is £10 plus £1 per week subs which if paid in full by a date stated by the committee can be reduced to £40 in total.

So what do you get for all that. We can offer people the opportunity to go on our trips for £145 for a weekend trip (under review whilst awaiting price increases from hotels, tickets and coaches) The weekend trip includes 2 nights in an excellent hotel with breakfast included match ticket and all travel which is by Chambers Coaches and Stenaline HSS. You can also go on our midweek trips for £90 (also under review). The midweek trips are usually a day return leaving Belfast at 6am and returning to Belfast at 7.30am next day.

If you intend to go to at least 2 games a season I would recommend joining Carryduff Branch. Travelling by other means with travel companies can cost over £250. Travelling with our branch you will have saved £10 on the first trip alone and you will be a member into the bargain.

We do not accept people wearing other team colours, smoking or drinking on our coaches. Language is tolerated up to a point, people are told when they go over the line. We are disciplined, and well organized. Our members have the first opportunity to buy tickets for our functions with Sir Alex. Our last event was last May 2006 when we organised a tribute dinner for The George Best Foundation where many personalities appeared including Sir Alex, Paddy Crerand, David Gill, Martin O'Neill to name a few. Other personalities come along to our bi-annual dinner with Sir Alex such as Eamonn Holmes, Mae Mcfetridge, Sharon Corr, Patrick Kielty, Jackie Fullerton. Every season we meet at least one player who is voted by our members as our player of the season.

I hope this is enough information to go by at the moment and I hope I haven't put you off with the cost. We travel to every home weekend game, we negotiate the best deals with hotels and coaches. We have a very good relationship with Old Trafford and encourage members to get involved in activities for the Development Association. All members must register with the United official membership scheme 'One United'.

There are many reasons for joining Carryduff MUSC. Here are 3 of them:-

1. We have 70 tickets for EVERY home premier league game.
2. You will have the opportunity to go on ANY of our trips for £145 (see Travel Costs)
3. You WILL have the opportunity to meet some of the players and the manager from time to time.
