I don't know how many times I have tried to kick start a search for premises but it hasn't worked so far. I have contacted a councillor in recent days to see if he can shed any light on the idea for me. I don't know how we get premises other than to buy them, but then you need permission to be able to use them as club premises.

In Carryduff there is very little for United fans by way of big screen coverage. The nearest is probably the Bot or such like. So once again, at this time of elections I am looking to get the help of fellow red and SDLP councillor Brian Hanvey to find out what it takes to get something set up.

It's not just the big screen and organising matches, we also want to use the opportunity to bring United fans together through other activities. We will check this out, survey our members and see what we can do.
