Dinner - NATR
This week the dinner has all but sold out. I haven't filled the room with the max yet but I think, anymore and it will be impossible to get around everyone with autographs and photos. It is going to be tight enough as it is. Chalkie has ben on the ball too meeting with Stephen Beacom from the Belfast Telegraph who is going to run a story over the next few weeks. Harry Gregg kept him talking for almost an hour and hopefully will be added to our guest list in the next few weeks subject to moving a few things around.
I want to get the finances in withint eh next few weeks for the dinner so if you haven't paid me please do so now. Although ticket sales have come to an end there is still a lot to be done between now and the function. If it was just as matter of turn up that would be wonderful.
There will be an opportuinity for junior to meet the players, when and where will remain top secret as we do not want the word to get out or we could be inundated with people. I won't be anmnouncing the venue over the internet so please come to meetings where it will be announced about a week or so before the 20th March.
Members are reminded to keep their guests in check at the Europa. Behaviour has always been good but there have been a few difficult moments over the years.
Night at the Races will be on Friday 4th Feb. Please come along and support our once a year fundraiser. See Malachy and sponsor a few horses/jockeys. Remember anyone who sponsors a horse/jockey will go in the hat for the draw for a free trip to the Blackpool game.
